A damaged fiber optic line near Oakdale has led to some phone and internet problems that are affecting a large portion of north central Nebraska. Crews are on the way to fix this damage, and hope to have services restored by mid- to late-afternoon Wednesday. The Cherry County Sheriff’s Office admin lines are among those affected. If you need to contact the office, you are asked to call them via the Valentine Police Department number, 376-3055. Emergency lines are apparently still operational.
