Incidents/Arrests:
On 08/18/2024 at 7:33 pm, officers were requested to respond to the 100 block of west highway 20 for a trespasser. A 39 year old Valentine man was cited for 2nd degree criminal trespassing.
On 08/19/2024 at 12:29 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop near 3rd and Cherry Streets. A 54 year old Valentine woman was cited for a stop sign violation.
On 08/20/2024 at 5:45 pm, an officer conducted a motorist assist in the City Park. Following an investigation, a 23 year old South Dakota man was arrested for driving under suspension, possession of a controlled substance and multiple traffic and vehicle equipment violations.

On 08/22/2024 at 9:49 pm, a complaint of threats being made telephonically was reported from the 200 block of south Main Street.
On 08/23/2024 10:55 am, a welfare check was requested in the 100 block of north Wood Street.
On 08/23/2024 at 12:16 pm, an assault occurred in the 200 block of north Wood Street.
