The “Heart City” continues to get recognition as a great place to be. Thrillist.com, an online media website covering travel, experiences, and local neighborhoods has recently named Valentine as the “best must-visit small town” in Nebraska. After a general overview of the town’s population and location, the website goes on to state that “it’s almost unfair to the rest of Nebrsaka how much of the state’s natural beauty is concentrated in this town” Many of Valentine’s amenities are mentioned, including Smith Falls, the Lord Ranch Resort and the Peppermill restaurant.
