Emergency crews remain busy in the last weeks of Summer in the KVSH listening area.  After multiple fire calls over the past week and a half, Valentine Volunteer Fire Department responded along with the Cherry County Hospital Ambulance Service and Cherry County Sheriff’s Office to the report of a single vehicle accident involving a motorcycle on a curve on Highway 12 about 8 miles east of Valentine.  The call came-in at about 10:45 Friday morning prompting an immediate response from emergency personnel.  Crews remained on scene for only about 15 minutes before returning to Valentine.  According to radio traffic, one person was transported by ambulance to the Cherry County Hospital with unknown injuries.
