Several times throughout the year, the Cherry County Hospital holds a Prenatal Preparation class for expecting mothers and their partners. It offers mothers-to-be a chance to learn about the importance of prenatal care, nutrition, and exercise for a healthy pregnancy and covers topics such as what to expect when you’re expecting, coping strategies and birth plan options, labor techniques and even your partner’s role in delivery. There will be a hospital tour as well as information from a Physician, an Anesthetist, and a car seat specialist.
The next prenatal class at Cherry County Hospital is slated for Saturday June 1st from noon until 4pm. They do not provide a lunch, but an hour break from 12 to 1 allows participants a chance to grab a bite to eat during that time.
There is no cost to attend this class, however, they do appreciate a call to let them know that you plan on attending so that adequate materials are on hand. Stop by the Cherry County Hospital at 510 Green Street or call 402-376-2525 to get signed-up.
