Preparations continue for the road closure for the Minnechaduza Creek Bridge
project. Next, we plan to deploy message boards near the scheduled work for
information of the upcoming road closure. An additional Press Release will also be
published a week before the road closure.
Work to remove the existing bridge and reconstruct a new single-span 175-foot by
36-foot-wide bridge on the existing alignment will begin September 3, 2024. The road
closure will occur between Labor Day (2024) and Memorial Day (2025). September 3,
2024 - May 23, 2025.
Other work in progress will relocate an overhead power line that will affect
construction equipment needed for bridge construction. Expect this work to be
completed in the next (2) weeks. This work is not expected to impact the traveling
public.
