Velda Adamson will host three Hunt Safe Sessions for area youth that need to get hunter safety.
Interested persons need to sign up for the online class through Nebraska Game and Parks. The class and test are taken online and when completed you can print out the certificate of completion which you will need to attend the Hunt Safe Session. You may also register for your preferred session online at the conclusion of the testing.
The local Hunt Safe Session will be held at Tooth and Whisker Outdoors in Valentine on August 8th, from 9 to 11AM, August 29th from 6 to 8PM and September 19th from 6 to 8PM. Each class size is limited. These sessions are for ages 12 to 16 years old. Those over 16 only need to complete the online test and print out the certificate of completion.
