Preparations continue for the upcoming Minnechaduza Creek Bridge project NorthEast of Valentine on Highway 12. Work will begin this fall (2024), with project completion in the spring of 2025. A road closure shall occur between Labor Day (2024) and Memorial Day (2025). September 3, 2024 - May 23, 2025. During this time, the contractor will remove the existing bridge and replace it.
Currently there is no plan to have an access road across the Minnechaduza Creek for construction. There will be a period with no crossing at the bridge location and a detour will be utilized during the winter months.
- HWY 20 Bridge work at Long Pine will be completed soon. Currently it is planned that this work will be complete, and HWY 20 will not have a detour at Long Pine when
we close Highway 12 to thru traffic.
