U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.), a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, announced today that she secured over $13 million for critical Nebraska water infrastructure priorities in the Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies
Appropriations Act.
The bill includes 1.4 million dollars in funding for the Middle Niobrara NRD Long Pine Creek Watershed project.
The bill, which must still be voted upon by the Senate and House, was advanced last week by the Senate Appropriations Committee.
