The Wood Lake Volunteer Fire Department was notified of a possible fire at a quarter-to four this (Wednesday) morning and was on scene by 4am. The fire at the Gary Morris place was in a bale pile that was allowed to burn itself out. Firemen remained on scene for about an hour to monitor the fire and provide mop up duties.
