An 8 year project to honor veterans who served from the conclusion of World War II to the end of the Vietnam War is finally coming to reality. Kerry Hoffman of Hoffman Monuments arrived at the Cherry County Courthouse complex this morning with the 4 slabs of black granite with names engraved. The monuments will be erected in front of the Cherry County Justice Center along with the other veterans memorials. The Cherry County Veterans Memorial Committee working on this project includes: Bill Marshall, John Ravenscroft, Dr. Dick Jeffers, Jim Edwards, Bob Stetter, Sean Hamling and Larry Johnson. Stay tuned to KVSH Radio for more details. Progress pictures will be posted on our kvsh facebook page and at kvsh.com.
