The 4th annual Heart City Cattle Battle will return to the Cherry County Fairgrounds in Valentine on June 7th and 8th.  Activities start at 2pm on Friday with the Judging clinic, followed by a fitting clinic at 5pm. Showmanship will take place at 7pm and the finale of the night will be adult showmanship at 9pm. The public is invited to attend.

 Saturday will begin at 10Am with market animals, followed by breeding females.  There will be buckles and cowhide banners given to winners.  There was over 10,000 dollars in prize money awarded last year. Cattle from all over the Midwest are expected to compete.
