The Cherry County Ag Society submitted a proposal to host the 2025 and 2026 Nebraska High School Rodeo Finals to the association board and was awarded the finals for those two years. The event will bring hundreds of rodeo contestants, fans and enthusiasts to the Cherry County Fairgrounds in mid June of those two years. Exact dates have not been set for the finals in Valentine. This years Nebraska high School Rodeo Finals will be held in Burwell June 13th through the 15th. The last time the finals were held in Valentine was the late 90’s. The finals spent several years in Hastings before moving to Burwell.
