Recently on the KVSH Comment program, Greg Nollette of Niobrara Valley Vineyards told listeners that the new events center, tasting room and RV sites will open for the season on May 1st. Niobrara Valley Vineyards, at Nenzel, is also celebrating 10 years of business this year. The new facility will be a total of 9,000 square feet and will include a new tasting room for a bout 50 people, seating for 100 more in event space and 100 more in outside space. Part of the funding for the expansion was a DED grant which is run through the county. There will also be 12 RV hook up sites with water and electricity. They will plan a formal grand opening celebration on July 19 and 20th featuring entertainment by BJ Jamison and an old fashioned Sandhills family fun day of events. Niobrara Valley Vineyards will continue to serve pizza and other special menu items in the new venue. They are now taking reservations for events, call 402 823 4131.
