Incidents/Arrests:
On 03/03/2024 at 9:28 pm, an officer responded to the 100 block of west highway 20
for a theft complaint. A 30 year old South Dakota man was arrested on an active
federal warrant, theft by unlawful taking and possession of stolen property. An 18
year old South Dakota female was arrested for theft by unlawful taking and
possession of stolen property.
On 03/04/2024 at 3:30 pm, a complaint was filed regarding a felony level theft. The
investigation is ongoing.
On 03/04/2024 at 9:48 pm, an officer responded to the 100 block of east 2nd Street
for a disturbance. A 30 year old South Dakota man was arrested for disturbing the
peace, trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On 03/06/2024 at 2:00 pm, an officer responded to the 200 block of north Government
Street regarding a telephonic harassment case. A 28 year old man was identified as
a suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
On 03/06/2024 at 7:35 pm, an officer responded to the 500 block of west 3rd Street
for a disturbance. A 36 year old South Dakota man was arrested for disturbing the
peace and criminal mischief.
On 03/07/2024 at 4:40 pm, an assault was reported near Moon and 9th Streets. A 29
year old Valentine woman was arrested for child abuse and assault. A juvenile
female was cited for assault.

On 03/03/2024 at 8:38 pm, a welfare check was requested in the 300 block of north
Hall Street.
On 03/04/2024 at 11:39 am, a disturbance occurred in the 200 block of north Wood
Street.
On 03/05/2024 at 6:00 pm, a welfare check was requested at Bias and Green Streets.
On 03/06/2024 at 8:17 am, a complaint was filed regarding a verbal altercation
involving a juvenile.
On 03/06/2024 at 2:50 pm, a theft was reported from the 200 block of south Wood Street.
On 03/06/2024 at 3:17 pm, a suspicious person was reported near the 200 block of
north Main Street.
On 03/06/2024 at 4:48 pm, a theft occurred in the 1000 block of east highway 20.
On 03/06/2024 at 6:47 pm, a dog was running at large in the 400 block of east 5th
Street.
On 03/07/2024 at 7:10 pm, an accident with no injuries was reported in the 200 block
of north Main Street.
On 03/08/2024 at 7:25 pm, a barking dog complaint was received from the 400 block of
east 5th Street.
On 03/09/2024 at 11:37 am, an officer was requested to respond to the 300 block of
west highway 20 to pick up a significant amount of abandoned marijuana.
On 03/09/2024 at 11:38 am, a welfare check was requested in the 200 block of west
highway 20.
On 03/09/2024 at 2:32 pm, a barking dog complaint was received from the 800 block of
north Hugh Street.
On 03/09/2024 at 4:46 pm, a disturbance occurred in the 100 block of west highway 20.
