About 150 men, including young men and boys attended the Sandhills Men of Faith event held Saturday night at the Cherry County Fairgrounds in Valentine. Longtime Husker assistant football coach Ron Brown was the keynote speaker. Coach Brown gave a passionate talk linking football, to life and to being a christian man. Brown pointed out how slowly our country has changed getting away from Christian values. Several businesses supported the event by donating door prizes which were given away during the evening. One of the organizers, Pete Salter told the crowd they would like to make this an annual event for the area.
