The Filing Deadline for Incumbents was Thursday February 15. March 1 is the filing deadline for new filers for any of the races with filing deadline for the Primary Election.
On April 24, the Cherry County Clerk’s office will mail ballots to ALL REGISTERED Voters in Cherry County to their registered address. If they plan to be away from home and would like their ballot to be mailed elsewhere, they need to fill out an Early Voting Ballot Application – these Applications can be found online at cherrycountyne.gov, or you are welcome to stop in the office.
For the Valentine City Council race, there are 3 seats up for election in this year’s rotation. Incumbents Ross Brockley, Kalli Kieborz, and Kyle Arganbright have all filed for re-election and will be challenged by Jason Gale of Valentine for one of those seats.
