Arrests/Incidents:
On 02/06/2024 at 9:32 pm, an officer responded to the 200 block of north Cherry Street for a disturbance. A 33 year old Valentine man was arrested for disturbing the peace.
On 02/07/2024 at 4:50 pm, an officer responded to the 500 block of north Macomb Street for a disturbance. A 55 year old Valentine man was identified as the suspect. The investigative report has been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney for review.
On 02/08/2024 at 8:54 am, a truancy check was requested in the 200 block of south Helen Street. A 41 year old Valentine woman was identified as the parent. A report was forwarded to the Cherry County attorney regarding compulsory education-attendance required.
On 02/10/2024 at 12:28 am, an officer responded to the 200 block of north Edna Street for an assault. A 30 year old Valentine man was identified as the suspect. The male left prior to law enforcement arrival. An arrest warrant will be sought.

On 02/04/2024 at 5:55 pm, property damage from a hit and run accident was reported at 6th and Ray Streets.

On 02/10/2024 at 2:50 am, an officer responded to the 1000 block of east 9th Street for a disturbance.
On 02/10/2024 at 4:18 pm, a complaint of animal neglect/abuse was filed with the department.
On 02/10/2024 at 5:20 pm, a welfare check was requested near B and Western Streets.
