At Thursday evening’s regular meeting of the Valentine City Council, mostly routine business was addressed.  Deanne Monroe discussed some of the upcoming Chamber of Commerce activities, and Will Sprenger discussed the government class project to build targets at the gun range for a community service project.

Katie Rhodes, Ronnie Brown, and Bradley Cardinal were reappointed to the Cemetery Board, Neil Muirhead and Chad Gale were reappointed to the planning commission board, and the request to allow alcohol at the city gym for a 50th class reunion was approved.

Also, the council approved the winning bid by “B Square” construction to build a couple new homes as part of the Affordable Housing Trust Fund grant project.  These houses will be sold after construction is complete.
