Incidents/Arrests:
On 01/14/2024 at 7:30 pm, an officer received a report about a delayed hit and run accident . The accident had occurred earlier in the week. A 59-year-old Valentine man was cited for leaving the scene of the accident, no proof of insurance and no vehicle registration.
On 01/17/2024 at 8:01 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop near 5th and Green Streets. A 38-year-old Valentine man was cited for no vehicle registration.

On 01/15/2024 at 10:05 am, an officer received a call regarding property damage that had occurred in the 100 block of south Main Street.
On 01/15/2024 at 11:03 am, the department received a complaint regarding elder abuse/neglect.
On 01/16/2024 at 2:08 pm, an officer responded to the 1000 block of east highway 20 for a non-injury accident.
On 01/16/2024 at 5:17 pm, an officer responded to the 600 block of east highway 20 for a non-injury accident.
On 01/17/2024 at 12:44 pm, a theft complaint was received from the 100 block of north Main Street.
On 01/18/2024 at 5:26 pm, a suspicious vehicle was reported in the 400 block of north Cherry Street.
On 01/18/2024 at 5:39 pm, a dog running at large complaint was received from the 100 block of west highway 20.
On 01/19/2024 at 9:10 am, a suspicious vehicle was reported in the 600 block of east highway 20.
On 01/19/2024 at 9:41 am, 2 dogs were reported to be running at large on Lodi Street.
On 01/19/2024 at 12:27 pm, a non-injury accident occurred in the 100 block of east 3rd Street.
On 01/19/2024 at 2:14pm, a welfare check was requested in the vicinity of the Mill Pond/Lakeshore Drive area.
On 01/19/2024 at 4:22 pm, a disturbance occurred in the 300 block of east highway 20.
On 01/19/2024 at 4:55 pm, officers responded to the 800 block of west highway 20 to remove a trespasser.
