Incidents:
On 12/02/2023 at 4:48 pm, an officer responded to the 100 block of west highway 20 for a disturbance. A 31 year old Valentine woman was arrested for criminal trespassing and possession of a controlled substance. In addition, a 37 year old woman and a 54 year old woman, both from South Dakota, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
On 01/01/2024 at 12:03 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop at 3rd and Cherry Streets. A 22 year old South Dakota man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol (high test).
On 01/01/2024 at 7:31 pm, a disturbance occurred in the 600 block of north Cherry Street. A 34 year old Valentine woman was arrested for disturbing the peace and assault on an officer.
On 01/02/2024 at 1:39 pm, officers responded to the 100 block of north Wood Street for a disturbance. A 32 year old Valentine man was arrested for criminal mischief, domestic assault, disturbing the peace and resisting arrest.
On 01/03/2024 at 3:31 pm, a disturbance occurred in the 500 block of north Green Street. A 58 year old South Dakota man was arrested for assault on a healthcare provider.
On 01/03/2024 at 3:51 pm, officers responded to the 500 block of north Green Street for a disturbance. A juvenile was identified as a suspect in an assault on a healthcare provider.
On 01/04/2024 at 3:56 pm, a disturbance was reported in the 500 block of west 3rd Street. A 29 year old Valentine woman was arrested for assault by mutual combat. A 31 year old Valentine man was arrested for assault by mutual combat and assault on an officer.
On 01/04/2024 at 6:30 pm, property damage was reported in the 300 block of north Main Street. A 32 year old Valentine man was identified as a suspect.

On 01/01/2024 at 1:00 pm, a report of child abuse/neglect was filed with the department.
On 01/02/2024 at 1:01 am, a welfare check was requested in the Little’s Trailer Court.
On 01/02/2024 at 4:13 am, a report of someone trying to break into the home was received.
On 01/02/2024 at 8:52 am, a report of shots being fired was called in from the 200 block of north Main Street. Following an investigation, the call was determined to be unfounded.
On 01/02/2024 at 2:59 pm, a hit and run accident was reported near B and Cherry Streets.
On 01/03/2024 at 5:25 am, a complaint of child abuse was filed with the department.
On 01/03/2024 at 2:16 pm, a harassment complaint was reported in the 100 block of north Thatcher Street.
On 01/03/2024 at 7:06 pm, an animal complaint was received from the 400 block of north Main Street.
On 01/03/2024 at 7:52 pm, a disturbance occurred in the 600 block of north Cherry Street.
On 01/03/2024 at 11:17 pm, a disturbance occurred in the 200 block of east 2nd Street.
On 01/05/2024 at 7:56 am, a truancy complaint was filed in the 1000 block of east 9th Street.
On 01/06/2024 at 11:29 am, a welfare check was requested in the 400 block of north Macomb Street.
