There were 14 entries for the 2023 KVSH Christmas Light Tour held Wednesday evening. KVSH conducted a cruise around town to view the entries and our panel of three judges decided the winners live on the air. Judges were Ty Gracey, Ann and Monty Neiffer. A big thanks you to Open Plains Transit whose buses were utilized to haul passengers during the tour. There were also 5 or 6 private vehicles following the buses during the tour.
There were only five points separating 1st through 4 place in the contest with 300 as a perfect score. Winning First place with a score of 284 points, were Doug and Robin Wackler at 801 North Green Street. A close second place with 282 points, were Matt and Ashley Sandoz at 804 North Queen Street. Wacklers will receive the $100 in Valentine Chamber Bucks from KVSH and our sponsors. Sandoz’s will get $50 for second place. There was a tie for 3rd and 4th with 279 points each. Derik and Emily Waits at 410 North Wood Street and Greg and Angie Brown at the corner of
3rd and Macomb Street in the 300 block. KVSH would like to thank our sponsors, judges and contestants in this years event. There has already been talk of making it bigger and better for 2024.
