The various offices that were located in the old Cherry County Courthouse are in the process of moving to the recently purchased Mike’s Market building at 2nd and Main Street. According to Cherry County Extension educator Michelle Garwood, the furniture was moved on Monday, but other cleanup continues at the old office. It was also reported that internet and phone lines are not yet available. Extension staff is rotating between the two locations throughout the day at this time, so if someone needs to contact the Cherry County Extension office, and you don’t have the individual’s cell phone number, you are urged to email Michelle at mgarwood3@unl.edu, or send a message on their Facebook page, which can be accessed by extension staff at all times. Once the communication lines are in place, we will announce that information here on KVSH Radio.
