The Cherry County Planning Commission held their regular meeting on Tuesday.  During the meeting, a public hearing concerned the purchase of the old Riverside / KOA campground southeast of Valentine by Billie Brockley, Karen Phillips and Neil Wescott from Mike Wescott.  The campground has not been in service for several years, making this process necessary to resurrect the business in Cherry County.  Mike stated that when he announced that he would be selling the property, his brother Neil showed interest in buying it, along with his daughters.  Nothing was decided at the meeting, with county planners requesting more information.  The topic will be re-addressed at the next regular meeting on February 6th at 4:30pm.
