The 40th Bull and Female Sale of TK Angus took place yesterday at the North Ranch 4 miles East of Valentine. The Marlette family offered over 180 bulls and over 200 females include spring bred females and 70 fall pairs.
Buyers from the local area and several states were on hand to bid in person, and Superior Livestock Auction and DV Auction received bids from buyers who could not attend in person.
Bull sales such as this contribute to the local economies in several ways: bringing people to town for the event, fuel, catering, motels, and more. The ranch family will reinvest the proceeds back into the ranch and the community over the months to come. Other area bull and female sales will also contribute to the vital backbone of the area economy, ranching.
