The holiday shopping season is underway across the United States. In the Valentine area, the local Chamber of Commerce held it’s annual Holiday Preview last week, presenting the holiday punch card promotion, encouraging shoppers to visit area businesses on the card, getting a special stamp at each location. The weeklong event wrapped-up on “Shop Small Town Saturday” with the drawing of the winner of the contest during the 8th annual Parade of Lights.
The winner of the $500 in chamber bucks for this year was Steve Daugherty. Thanks to Steve, and everyone else who is opting to shop locally this holiday season.
