According to Cherry County Sheriff Rusty Osborne, on Saturday November 11, an adult male reportedly was involved in a hunting accident south of Nenzel, Nebraska. Apparently the individual was in the area for the opening day of hunting season with his sons when the rifle that he was holding accidentally discharged and struck him in the foot. EMS professionals from Cherry County Hospital Ambulance Service responded to the incident, but no other details are available at this time.
