Sunday night is “Ladies Night” at Bomgaars in Valentine. A portion of purchases made that evening will go to the Cherry County Hospital. The money raised this year will be used at the Cherry County Hospital’s Oncology Department for equipment needed to make the patients stay more comfortable.
According to interim CEO Nancy Hicks-Arsenault, this may be used for things like the purchase of heated chairs for patient use that are heated and provide a message while patients receive their chemotherapy medications. The Cherry County Hospital Oncology Department is currently following and treating 95 cancer patients. Four oncologists currently provide services at Cherry County Hospital. Folks from around the KVSH listening area are all invited and encouraged to stop by Bomgaars this Sunday evening for their “Ladies Night.”
