On Thursday, October 12, 2023, Mike Burge was presented with the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow recognition by the Valentine Rotary. Rotarians associate the naming of a Paul Harris Fellow as a tribute to a person who has demonstrated a shared purpose and support for the educational and humanitarian objectives of The Rotary Foundation. The recognition is named after Rotary’s Founder, the late Paul Harris, a Chicago lawyer, who started Rotary with three business associates in 1905. A world of goodwill and better understanding comes closer to reality today because Ronna Morse has made a substantial donation to The Rotary Foundation so that Mike Burge can be named as a Paul Harris Fellow.
In being presented with a Paul Harris Fellow recognition, Mike Burge joins a remarkable company of people throughout the world, all recognized for their commitment to “Service Above Self” to benefit local and international communities. It was with great pleasure that Mike Burge was presented with the emblems of appreciation given to Paul Harris Fellow recipients including a certificate and pin.
Congratulations, and thanks to Mike Burge for his commitment to Rotary’s common goals of world understanding and peace. Congratulations to the Valentine Rotary’s newest Paul Harris Fellow, Mike Burge.
