Incidents/Arrests:
On 10/08/2023 at 8:50 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of east highway 20. A 42 year old Valentine woman was cited for a stop sign violation.
On 10/08/2023 at 2:04 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of east highway 20. A 24 year old Valentine woman was cited for no driver’s license, possess open container of alcohol and failure to use child safety restraints.
On 10/11/2023 at 8:10 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of south Main Street. A 30 year old Valentine man was arrested for driving under suspension.
On 10/11/2023 at 9:17 am, an officer conducted a truancy check in the 1000 block of east 9th Street due to compulsory education/attendance required. All information has been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney for review.
On 10/11/2023 at 10:26 am, an officer responded to the 100 block of east highway 20 for a non-injury accident. A 47 year old Valentine man was cited for driving a commercial motor vehicle without a CDL.
On 10/11/2023 at 10:26 pm, an officer made contact with a semi blocking the highway in the 200 block of east highway. A 34 year old California man was cited for impeding traffic.
On 10/13/2023 at 10:18 am, a report of child abuse/neglect was filed with the department. Children and Family services was requested to assist in the investigation.

On 10/09/2023 at 12:49 pm, a caller provided information regarding the possession and sales of illegal narcotics.
On 10/09/2023 at 6:57 pm, an animal complaint was reported in the 800 block of east 9th Street.
On 10/10/2023 at 4:44 pm, a dog at large was reported on west 4th Street.
On 10/10/2023 at 9:23 pm, a careless driver was reported near 6th and Government streets.
On 10/11/2023 at 7:09 am, a burglary was reported in the 100 block of west 3rd Street. The investigation is ongoing.
On 10/11/2023 at 8:29 am, a parking complaint was reported in the 400 block of east 5th Street.
On 10/11/2023 at 3:25 pm, an officer received a theft report from the 500 block of north Green Street.
On 10/13/2023 at 5:26 pm, a disturbance was reported in the 600 block of north Macomb Street.
On 10/13/2023 at 6:02 pm, an animal complaint was reported in the 500 block of north Ray Street.
On 10/13/2023 at 10:29 pm, a disturbance was reported in the 600 block of north Macomb Street.
On 10/13/2023 at 10:49 pm, a disturbance was reported in the 100 block of north Main Street.
