This is National 4-H week. In 2023 there were 253 exhibitors (youth) enrolled in Cherry County 4-H. They typically reach 3 out of 4 youth total in the county by adding school enrichment to our work on top of
enrolled 4-H programs. Cherry County 4-H has around 45 formal volunteers. At fair activities this year, there were 670 non-livestock entries (includes shooting sports, music, speech, special foods contest, fashion show on top of static items. 83 of those were from Clover Kids (ages 5-7). There were 343 livestock class entries and 171 horse class entries. They awarded 25 Quilts of Valor, 126 have been awarded since 2016. For information about Cherry County 4-H, contact Michelle J.
