Incidents/Arrests:
On 09/17/2023 at 9:00 am, a hit and run accident was reported in the 200 block of east 5th Street. A 54 year old Valentine man was cited for leaving the scene of an accident and driving while revoked.
On 09/18/2023 at 7:46 am, a hit and run accident was reported in the 700 block of east highway 20. A 60 year old Valentine man was cited for leaving the scene of an accident.
On 09/19/2023 at 12:04 am, a traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Besse Street and Highway 20. A 30 Valentine man was cited for no operator’s license.

On 09/18/2023 at 8:37 am, a caller reported that a stolen vehicle may be in town.
On 09/18/2023 at 10:03 am, a dog at large was reported in the 200 block of west highway 20.
On 09/18/2023 at 3:40 pm, illegal narcotics that had been found were turned into the department.
On 09/19/2023 at 7:40 am, an officer received a report of terroristic threats, criminal mischief and theft from the 100 block of Western Street.
On 09/19/2023 at 1:13 pm, an officer received a report of a mountain lion sighting in the 1000 block of Dowden Street.
On 09/19/2023 at 4:31 pm, an animal welfare check was requested in the 200 block of north Edna Street.
On 09/19/2023 at 11:53 pm, a welfare check was requested in the 100 block of north Main Street.
On 09/20/2023 at 7:20 am, horses at large were reported in the 100 block of north Government Street.
On 09/20/2023 at 9:45 am, a complaint of slander was filed with the department.
On 09/20/2023 at 3:57 pm, an animal complaint was reported in the 500 block of north Howe Street.

On 09/21/2023 at 3:29 pm, a welfare check on animals in the 200 block of north Edna Street was requested.

On 09/21/2023 at 5:46 pm, an officer responded to the 100 block of south Main Street for a parking complaint.

On 09/21/2023 at 9:14 pm, a reckless driver was reported in the 200 block of south Main Street.
On 09/22/2023 at 9:45 pm, 2 dogs at large were reported in the 600 block of east highway 20.
On 09/23/2023 at 1:51 am, a missing person report was filed from the 200 block of south Helen Street.
