The Valentine Volunteer Fire Department hosted a multi-agency training on Tuesday evening. Valentine firemen, Cherry County Hospital Ambulance medical personnel, as well as the Cherry County Emergency Management worked together to learn and practice their skills in rope rescue activity. Multiple crews went down a steep bank on the northeast end of Valentine to bring up a volunteer acting as an injured person.
