Incidents/Arrests:
On 09/03/2023 at 5:04 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of west highway 20. A juvenile female was cited for no driver’s license and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On 09/05/2023 at 7:45 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop near 5th and Government Streets. A juvenile female was cited for speeding in a school zone.
On 09/05/2023 at 11:20 am, an officer responded to the 300 block of west 2nd Street for a trespassing complaint. A 45 year old Valentine woman has been identified as the suspect.
On 09/05/2023 at 2:32 pm, officers responded to the 200 block of south Helen Street for an assault resulting in serious bodily injury. The case is pending suspect identification and victim cooperation.
On 09/06/2023 at 11:53 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Bias Street. A 26 year old Valentine woman was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
On 09/07/2023 at 2:08 pm, an officer received a report of theft by deception and possession of a forged $10 bill. A suspect has been identified and all information has been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney.

On 09/06/2023 at 9:26 am, a complaint of child abuse/neglect was filed with the department.

On 09/07/2023 at 4:16 pm, a caller from the 300 block of north Main Street reported a scam.
On 09/08/2023 at 12:00 am, a disturbance was reported in the 100 block of north Main Street.
On 09/08/2023 at 11:27 am, a welfare check on animals was requested in the 200 block of north Edna Street.
On 09/08/2023 at 1:35 pm, a business alarm was accidentally activated in the 200 block of south Hall Street.
On 09/08/2023 at 2:40 pm, a theft was reported from the 100 block of west highway 20.
On 09/08/2023 at 6:37 pm, a welfare check on animals was requested in the 800 block of north Moon Street.
On 09/09/2023 at 6:39 pm, a report of property damage was filed in the 600 block of east 5th Street.
