Incidents/Arrests:
On 08/20/2023 at 5:00 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of east highway 20. A 38 year old Valentine man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
On 08/21/2023 at 10:35 pm, an officer made contact with a 25 year old South Dakota man in the 900 block of north Main Street. He was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
On 08/23/2023 at 3:47 pm, an officer received a theft report from the 200 block of north Wood Street. Juveniles were identified as suspects. All information will be forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney.
On 08/24/2023 at 12:17 pm, an officer responded to the 600 block of west 2nd Street for a domestic disturbance. A 25 year old Valentine man was arrested for domestic assault.
On 08/25/2023 at 6:24 pm, an officer responded to the 500 block of north Government Street for a disturbance. A juvenile male was identified as making terroristic threats. All information will be forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney.
On 08/26/2023 at 9:27 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of east highway 20. A 26 year old South Dakota woman was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
On 08/26/2023 at 7:41 pm, an officer issued a citation to a 62 year old Crookston woman for a code violation on her property within the City of Valentine.

On 08/21/2023 at 7:26 am, an officer received a report of careless driving at 5th and Ray Streets.
On 08/22/2023 at 10:03 a truancy check was requested in the 200 block of south Helen Street.
On 08/23/2023 at 4:27 pm, an officer responded to the 300 block of north Main Street for a suspicious person report.
On 08/24/2023 at 12:00 PM, a welfare check was requested in the 600 block of north Cherry Street.
On 08/24/2023 at 4:19 pm, a trespassing complaint was filed in the 500 block of north Macomb Street.
On 08/25/2023 at 8:11 am, a welfare check was requested in the 200 block of north Main Street.
On 08/25/2023 at 3:40 pm, a theft was reported in the 600 block of east 7th Street.
On 08/25/2023 at 3:55 pm, an officer received a report of property damage in the 200 block of north Main Street.
On 08/25/2023 at 4:32 pm, an accident with no injuries was reported in the 300 block of north Main Street.
On 08/25/2023 at 7:47 pm, a disturbance was reported in the 900 block of Moon Street.
On 08/25/2023 at 7:59 pm, an officer responded to the 100 block of west highway 20 for a suspicious person report.
