Entries are now open for the annual Chaduza Cook Off on September 9th in the Valentine City Park. Categories will include beef steak, quarters of chicken and pork ribs. Competitors can enter any or all three categories. Meat will be provided by the Valentine Chamber of Commerce. Judges will determine the overall winners but there will also be a peoples choice awarded in each category. There will also be a separate category for side dishes. There will be a free will donation lunch courtesy of the Chamber of Commerce starting at 11am. The cornhole tournament will begin at 1pm with a $50 entry fee and $500 added money to the payback. In the evening the band Born and Bred will open for the Will Carter Band in the park at the stage area. Bring your lawn chairs and spend the day at the Chaduza BBQ cook off on September 9th.
