Incidents/Arrests:
On 08/14/2023 at 9:43 am, an aggressive dog was reported at large in the 500 block of north Valentine Street. A 34 year old Valentine woman was cited for dog at large.
On 08/15/2023 at 12:35 am, an officer responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of north Cherry Street. A 33 year old South Dakota man was arrested for disturbing the peace.
On 08/15/2023 at 2:29 pm, an officer responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of west highway 20. A 47 year old South Dakota man was cited for possession of marijuana less than one ounce.
On 08/16/2023 at 10:36 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of south Hall Street. A 30 year old Valentine man was arrested on suspicion of operating his vehicle while under the influence of drugs.
On 08/17/2023 at 10:50 am, an officer made contact with a 35 year old man from South Dakota in the 300 block of east highway 20. The man was arrested for an active Cherry County warrant and obstruction.
On 08/18/2023 at 3:51 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop near 3rd and Government Streets. A 55 year old Valentine woman was cited for a school bus violation.
On 08/19/2023 at 12:48 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of north Cherry Street. A 19 year old South Dakota man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

On 08/15/2023 at 7:36 am, a complaint of chickens at large was filed in the 300 block of east 2nd Street.

On 08/17/2023 at 7:10 am, a criminal trespassing complaint was received from the 200 block of north Macomb Street.
