City Manager Shane Seiwart indicated fairly good revenue at the Valentine Family Aquatic Center for the 2023 summer season. According to the numbers provided by Seiwart, there was $6146 in daily admission, while $6403 was raised in season passes of various rates. Swimming lessons brought $1091 in revenue. The total concessions sold were surprisingly high, with 12,105.75 in snack purchases. Daily fees were $3 at the door, indicating over 2000 individual general admission sales, while the number of pool passes purchased is apparently more difficult for the city to track, as Seiwart advised that there were various prices for different passes purchased, and these sales are not tracked individually.
