Valentine Police Chief Dana Miller appeared on the KVSH Comment program for a monthly report on activities involving the PD. Chief Miller stated that there has been an escalation in drag racing or excessive speed within the city limits. If you witness these types of dangerous activities please report them to the Valentine Police at 402 376 3055. With school just getting started, there have already been reports of drivers going around school buses which are stopped, with the stop arm extended. It is against the law to go around school buses in these situations at any time. Another issue is chickens running loose in some areas of town. Please keep livestock confined.
