Incidents/Arrests:
On 07/24/2023 at 1:05 am, an officer arrested a 22 year old Valentine man in the 200 block of south Main Street for an active Cherry County warrant.
On 07/25/2023 at 12:14 pm, a forgery and theft was reported in the 700 block of east highway 20. A suspect has been identified and all information regarding this investigation has been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney.
On 07/25/2023 at 2:35 pm, an officer was contacted regarding terroristic threats being made via social media. All information regarding this investigation has been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney.
On 07/25/2023 at 11:29 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of east highway 20. A 55 year old South Dakota man was arrested on suspicion of operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
On 07/29/2023 at 1:04 pm, an officer responded to the 100 block of east highway 20 for a shoplifting. A 72 year old Crookston man was identified as the suspect. All information regarding this investigation has been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney.

On 07/25/2023 at 10:30 am, a disturbance was reported in the 200 block of east 5th Street.
On 07/25/2023 at 11:54 am, an officer was requested at B and Main Streets because a 6 year old wouldn’t get into the car. No action was taken by law enforcement.
On 07/25/2023 at 12:50 pm, a complaint regarding parking in the 400 block of north Valentine Street was filed.
On 07/25/2023 at 2:48 pm, a child abuse and neglect complaint was filed with the department.
On 07/25/2023 at 11:08 pm, a business alarm was activated in the 100 block of east highway 20.
On 07/26/2023 at 2:52 am, an officer was requested to conduct a welfare check at 3rd and Green Streets.
On 07/26/2023 at 8:39 am, a complaint of terroristic threats was reported in the 1000 block of east highway 20.
On 07/26/2023 at 8:35 pm, a welfare check was requested in the 500 block of north Green Street.
On 07/27/2023 at 2:21 pm, a complaint of vehicles speeding in the 500 block of north Hugh Street was filed.
On 07/28/2023 at 2:14 am, a disturbance was reported in the 1000 block of north Green Street.
On 07/28/2023 at 5:49 am, a juvenile runaway was reported in the 200 block of south Main Street.
On 07/28/2023 at 7:06 am, a request to remove a trespasser was made in the 100 block of east highway 20.
On 07/28/2023 at 9:25 am, an officer was requested in the 100 north Main Street for a suspicious person.
On 07/28/2023 at 1:37 pm, an animal welfare check was requested in the 800 block of north Moon Street.
On 07/29/2023 at 8:54 am, an officer received a report of property damage from the area of 1st and Main Streets.
On 07/29/2023 at 8:29 pm, a dog at large was reported in the 800 block of Craig Street.
On 07/29/2023 at 9:42 pm, a possible break in was reported in the 200 block of north Hall Street.
