Incidents:
On 07/18/2023 at 8:11 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of north Macomb Street. A 21 year old South Dakota man was cited for possession of marijuana less than one ounce and drug paraphernalia. K9 Baker was deployed during this stop.
On 07/21/2023 at 3:53 pm, officers investigated a complaint of a prohibited person possessing a firearm. A 51 year old Valentine man was arrested in connection to this investigation.
On 07/22/2023 at 4:37 pm, officers received a complaint regarding child abuse. Both the Nebraska and South Dakota Child Protective Services were requested to assist.

On 07/17/2023 at 12:13 am, a welfare check was requested in the 300 block of west 2nd Street.
On 07/17/2023 at 1:51 pm, an officer was requested to remove a trespasser from the 300 block of west highway 20.
On 07/18/2023 at 2:24 am, a disturbance was reported in the 300 block of east highway 20.
On 07/18/2023 at 9:11 am, a delayed report of a hit and run accident was filed.
On 07/18/2023 at 5:06 pm, a welfare check was requested at 1st and Cherry Streets.
On 07/18/2023 at 11:19 pm, a disturbance was reported in the 800 block of west highway 20.
On 07/19/2023 at 2:36 pm, a disturbance was reported in the 400 block of east 1st Street.
On 07/20/2023 at 5:02 pm, an officer received a parking complaint in the 500 block of north Valentine Street.
On 07/21/2023 at 8:07 am, a trespasser was reported at Hall and Development Streets.
On 07/22/2023 at 7:57 am, a delayed report of an attempted break of a home on Lakeshore Drive was received.
On 07/22/2023 at 8:13 am, a welfare check was requested in the 200 block of north Macomb Street.
On 07/22/2023 at 9:36 pm, a complaint of harassment was reported in the 100 block of east 1st Street.
On 07/22/2023 at 9:52 pm, an officer was requested in the 200 block of north Cherry Street for a subject in distress.
Officers responded to 99 calls for service this week.
