The 136th annual Old Settlers Reunion at Sparks will be held on August 26th. Activities will begin with horseshoe tournament and Bowery program starting at 10AM. The small sports are expected to begin about 10:30, followed by amateur rodeo beginning at noon. Afternoon events will also include businessmen’s roping, team sorting and various horse races including a quarter mile race. Rodeo entry forms may be found on the Old Settlers Facebook page and at Amanda’s Daycare in Valentine. Entries can be mailed to Amanda Jones and must be postmarked by August17th or theycan be dropped off at 707 Donoher St. Entries will close on August 24th and there will be no entries the day of the event except for Team Sorting.
