According to the Nebraska Department of Transportation, Work to repair Cherry Street to pre-construction conditions continues this week.
Kirk Barnes Construction has been removing and replacing concrete surfacing damaged by detour traffic. These repairs are expected to take possibly another week to complete.
Access for local traffic will be maintained with Cherry Street closed to Thru Traffic. Motorist are urged to find alternate routes in area where work is taking place.
