According to the Nebraska Department of Transportation, Work has started to repair Cherry Street to pre-construction conditions. Kirk Barnes Construction has began work to remove and replace concrete surfacing damaged by detour traffic. Work will start at
the intersection of HWY 20 & Cherry Street and work north to the intersection of HWY 83 North & Cherry Street. These repairs
are expected to take two weeks to complete. Access for local traffic will be maintained with Cherry Street closed to Thru Traffic.
