Jenalee Garwood has been selected as the Sand Painters Art Club Artist of the Month for June. Jenalee is a 15 year old artist, not specializing in any specific medium, but finds her strengths in basic pencil portraits.
While Jenalee’s sketches always come out well, it’s the fine detail she really pays attention to. Something she’d most like to work on is her backgrounds to further enhance the drawings.
Jenalee’s artwork is on display for the month of June at Bank of the West, Security First Bank, Viearo, Sandhills Bank, and Union Bank, all in Valentine. Jenalee is the daughter of Jeff and Michelle Garwood of Valentine.
