The Cherry County Hospital Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, June 13th, at 7PM, with the main topic to be the search for a new hospital CEO. KVSH Radio reported last week that Cherry County Hospital CEO Kyle Kellum submitted his resignation. Mr. Kellum sent an email to hospital employees last Wednesday stating his last day will be August 12th. Mr. Kellum was recently awarded five year contract with a substantial increase in salary and a retroactive signing bonus, by a split vote of the board of trustees. At this Tuesdays board meeting the question will be to consider a
presentation from Bryan Health Services to conduct the CEO search. According to a letter from Melham Medical Center Interim CEO, Stephanie Boldt, Mr. Kellum would be taking the CEO position in Broken Bow.
