The Valentine Volunteer Fire Department held its election of officers at their recent May meeting. Elected President of the 52-person department was Jeff Ohlmann, Vice president Daniel Bitner, and Secretary/Treasurer William Beel. Also elected during the meeting were Captains Tadd Buechle, Ross Brockley and Liam Beel, and Safety officers Luke Grubham and Jess Shelbourn. Terry Engels remains Chief for the Valentine Fire Department, with Courtney Fowler assistant chief.
