Cherry County Attorney Eric Scott has announced that an escapee from the Cherry County Justice Center, Dylan Poland, has captured and is back in custody. Dylan Poland of Valentine was aprehended by the Nebraska State Patrol and the Cherry County Sheriff after a twelve hour manhunt Monday. Poland absconded from the Cherry County Justice Center after being released on a Court furlough to attend treatment. He refused to attend treatment and left his transportation. Poland is currently being held without bail.
