Incidents/Arrests:
On 05/07/2023 at 9:00 am, an officer responded to the 200 block of south Helen Street for a dog bite. A 27 year old Valentine man was cited for having a vicious dog.
On 05/07/2023 at 9:28 pm, an officer responded to the 200 block of south Main Street for a disturbance. A 23 year old Crookston man was arrested for outstanding warrants out of Oklahoma.
On 05/08/2023 at 7:00 am, an officer received a report of a juvenile runaway from the 200 block of north Hall Street. All information has been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney.
On 05/08/2023 at 11:14 pm, a disturbance was reported in the 100 block of west highway 20. A 51 year old Valentine man has been identified as the suspect. All information has been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney.
On 05/10/2023 at 9:12 pm, a traffic stop was conducted near 1st and Cherry Streets. Two 24 year old males and one 24 year old female, all from South Dakota, were arrested for drug violations. K9 Baker was deployed on this stop.
On 05/11/2023 at 4:10 pm, a report of a sexual assault was filed with the department. The investigation is ongoing.
On 05/12/2023 at 3:40 pm, a traffic stop was conducted at 3rd and Cherry Streets. A juvenile male was arrested for 5 traffic violations, suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, resisting arresting, criminal mischief and disturbing the peace.

On 05/10/2023 at 2:35 pm, a dog was reported at large at 2nd and Victoria Streets.
On 05/10/2023 at 4:12 pm, a complaint of harassment via social media was filed with the department.
On 05/10/2023 at 8:55 pm, a disturbance was reported in the 200 block of east 5th Street.
On 05/11/2023 at 2:30 pm, a complaint about someone driving an ATV carelessly near Sally and B Streets was filed.
On 05/11/2023 at 3:43 am, a complaint of someone illegally dumping trash in the 200 block north Valentine Street was reported.
