Valentine will be one of a few Nebraska communities to feature art work in the Sculpture Walk Across Nebraska.
The first art piece arrived in Valentine over the weekend and was installed at 3rd and Main St. Each of the works on the SWAN tour is available for purchase.
Valentine was offered this opportunity and the Economic Development helped in the selection of the art work which will be on display for a year.
The sculptures are mostly Nebraska artists work and are on loan to the communities. Valentine officials thought having the sculptures on Valentine new Main Street would be an added reason to patronize the downtown business district.
